John R Stevens

John was born and grew up in California. Both his parents were involved in art and design and helped develop John’s artistic talents. He attended Santa Barbara City College and Brigham Young University for his Bachelors education in the Graphic and Exhibit Design. After college he worked for a number of design and illustration studios in California and Utah. In 1982 he started his own graphic design and photography studio in Utah where he created award winning design for a wide variety of local, regional and Fortune 500 clients. John has taught numerous workshops and has authored many industry articles for the design and photography trades, and he taught art at a local community college. John has rekindled his artistic skills and ventured into the fine art world over the past 10 years, by painting large minimalist, abstract and colorful art. His bird, flora and fauna illustrations are available as Museum Quallty Fine Art Prints on his online stores. His work has been represented in a wide assortment of galleries throughout the West. John and his wife, Shauna, currently live on a ranch in Spring City, Utah and are partners in a fine art gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona and he is a founding member of the Spring City Arts organization.
